AIR BAGS

We fit Polyair helper airbags. They sit inside or beside your rear springs and add support when you need it. Pump them up when you hitch the van or load the tray, and let them down when you're empty, so the car sits level and rides well either way.

• Level when towing: stops the rear dropping under towball weight, so your headlights, steering and braking aren't thrown off.

• Adjustable: add air for a heavy load and drop it for a softer ride when empty.

• Even side to side: handy for utes with a heavier side, like a canopy with water on one side.

Good to know

• Helper airbags support the load, but they don't raise your legal GVM. If you're over GVM, you need a certified GVM upgrade. Airbags can go with it.

• Full air suspension (replacing your springs) is a different thing. In Victoria it needs a VASS approval certificate.

• Polyair makes kits for both coil-sprung wagons and leaf-sprung utes. Options include in-cab gauges and on-board compressors, so you can adjust them from the driver's seat.
